明明是我的腳
小孩在學習語文的過程當中，難免因雙關語而產生一些困惑（confused），以下的笑話是一個很好的例子。
．一語雙關
On the wrong feet，這則笑話的雙關語是 shoes on the wrong feet，直翻之下，是指鞋子穿在不對的腳上；實際上，它是指鞋子的左右腳穿錯了。
．觸類旁通
Don’t kid me──別開我的玩笑。Kid 與 joke 當動詞時，用法是蠻接近的，開玩笑的意思。有另外一句常說的，就是把 kid 加 ing 變成 You must be kidding.（你是說真的嗎？）同樣一句話 joke 加 ing 變成 You must be joking，不過，當名詞時，你可以告訴一個人 a joke，但是你不能告訴他 a kid。
．Jeffrey’s talk
One day a toddler（剛學走路的小孩） puts her shoes on all by herself. She’s extremely proud, and goes to show her mother. Beaming（眉飛色舞） with happiness, she says, "Mommy, look!"
The mother looks only to see the left shoe is on the right foot, and the right shoe on the left foot. The mother says, "Honey, your shoes are on the wrong feet."
The little girl looks up at her mother and says, "Don’t kid me mom. I know these are my feet!"
有一天，剛學走路的小女孩自己穿上鞋子，很驕傲地要媽媽看。媽媽看她左右腳穿錯就說：「親愛的，妳的鞋子are on the wrong feet。」小女孩抬頭看著媽媽說：「別開玩笑了，我知道這是我的腳。」
